This is the sharpest 'fast' lens I have ever used wide open and contrast/colour are excellent right from f/2. Optically, I have pretty much no complaints, bokeh could be a tad smoother but that is a harsh judgement.
I am just not using this focal lenggth often enough. It's a tad too short for portraits and too long for landscapes, I decided to sell and prefer the 43mm focal length.
